Suwanne's Clit-Club is an alternative and non-profit mobile and/or pop-up cocktail-bar based on the squatted ship building yard of the ADM (near Amsterdam), since 2007

Since 2011 the Clit-Club has also a (semi) permanent base in Ruigoord, which we named "La Garage" (We squatted a disused garage box, disposed of the garbage and re-used / incorporated all the rest)

Mission statement:

• The Clit-Club wants to be a safe hang-out for all (open minded) peoples regardless their sex, gender, race, body shape or sexual orientation
• The Clit-Club wants to promote an alternative way of living (and being) and fully supports the squatting movement
  
• The Clit-Club strives to be eco-friendly and (self)sustainable
• The Clit-Club wants to have all her workers and performers to have a fabulous time, which of course includes free food and drinks (and a share in the profit, if possible)!
• In most cases the Clit-Club is part of the organization of an event and therefore all her proceeds are used to help financing it
  
• If the Clit-Club however does end up with a little bit of money in her pocket after a party or festival (usually not :-) it will be used to fix and/or improve the bar....
  

• The Clit-Club trailers and bars have been built from recycled materials and sustainable harvested tree trunks from the ADM forest
• The Clit-Club uses bio-degradable cups and/or reusable one's
  
• Already over 85% of her lights are either LED's or neon lights, which (partly) are hooked up to solar-panels
  
• In the past she has served cocktails with fair-trade spirits from South America, but unfortunately her supplies have run out. If you have suggestions on (affordable) organic and/or fair-trade alcoholic drinks, please let us know...
  
• If possible (depending on availability and pricing) the Clit-Club uses organic ingredients
• The Clit-Club prefers to use human labor (of our customers) instead of electrical current (from the grid). We're proud to have a bike-blender, a manual citrus fruit-press sculpture and a manual ice-crusher
• The Clit-Club promo T-shirts are from fair-trade and/or organic cotton and printed with environmental friendly ink

• Suwanne is the name of the initiator of this particular bar
• Suwanne has been working at many bars prior to her own Clit-Club (which was founded in 2007). In 2005 she changed sex and got herself clit(oris and a vagina)
• The Clit-Club is originally a lesbian club-night in NewYork, the Clit-Club was also the name of a lesbian club-night in several venues in Amsterdam during the 80's and 90's
